My wife and I were heading up to spend an afternoon on a beach in door county with her brother and his wife. My brother in law mentioned he had not brought a book to read on the beach.

Neither had I. So while he got gas at Costco, we ran in to get some books. I knew he would not accept someone buying a book for him so I grabbed one by James Patterson. He is popular and that way if my BIL didn’t like it, I could read it.

I never did read the book. Only recently I grabbed it to read. That was when I realized it share a title with my novel Shattered.

And that was after many times of searching for my book on Amazon and seeing other results for Shattered.

Unfortunately, I don’t think this will lead to sales of my book. Patterson has established readers and our two books are vastly different.

Its just so weird the coincidences that come up.
