2. Download the ebook: Use the link or code to download the ebook onto your computer, tablet, or smartphone. I get an email with the link. I click download and tell my phone what app to send it to – I use Kindle.)
3. Choose a reading app or device: You can use a dedicated ebook reader (like a Kindle), a reading app (like Kindle, Kobo, or Adobe Digital Editions), or even a simple text editor.
4. Open the ebook: Locate the downloaded file and open it with your chosen app or device.
5. Start reading: Enjoy your new book!

Smashwords is a nice website to sell and buy books. I wish it was a little easier to use. It would also be great if it was a lot more popular. As an author, I determine the price and can offer sales any time I want.

My books are on a lot of platforms. They include The Tao of Apathy, Shattered, Parts of Me, Alternate Forms of Life, and Love, Story. But first they are on Smashwords.

Its a way to get my book and not contribute to the union buster Amazon. You can select to get my books as epub. That is perhaps best. However, Kindle does a nice job of loading PDFs as well.

Smashwords is simply a great way to get books and a great way to support your local author.
