I remember disliking Hillary Clinton because it was like she was trying to be president. I thought, Bill was elected, not you.
Now I see how messed up that was. She wanted to change the world, yet she was limited by our views of women. We were/are so sexist that a woman could not get elected.
How much further would the Democrats be if she had been elected and not Bill?
Even back then I believed in equal rights. But I let rhetoric sway me. People put out a narrative for their own goals.
The biggest sway that assured my vote for Hillary in 2016 was her leaked emails. They showed a person that was concerned about the issues. And concerned about the people she met. She asked her aides to follow up with people on issues they brought to her.
