It took me too many years, but I renewed my membership to The Wisconsin Writers Association. I simply kept putting it off. It has some new leadership which are making it responsive to the needs of its members.

The next step is to get involved and stay involved. That perhaps was why I let my membership go. I didn’t. I expected too much from my membership fee.

I see now that it was the in. The benefit from it must come from participation.
