Above is one of the great concepts explored by Raquel Durden in her book Dial Down. This book was great. She had real life examples of people that had PTSD and struggled with wellness. Examples are always great. The fact that she told us about real life heroes made it all the more interesting.
We all need the concepts in this book. Durden provides options and advice. He shows how to adapt to healthy practices and make them your own.

I also enjoyed that this book focuses on finding the good within us and not beating ourselves us for what we do due to pain.
