I am not condoning violence and rioting in any way. However, the events we are experiencing reminds me of when I was in college. One of my friends came back from a riot excited he had hit an officer with an apple he threw. He was white and is now a state trooper.
If caught should he have been punished? Yes. Was he caught up in something? Yes.
