Politics are a Drawbridge

I live in a city with 3 drawbridges. During the summer, the traffic is often stopped while the big boats go under the bridges.

It just seems odd that we have to wait for those people that hare rich enough to own big boats. They are recreating, while some of us are going to and from work. Any time the boats want to go through, they can while I wait without benefit to me. Shouldn’t they have to wait.

(Yes, their taxes on their big boats and their gas brings in money, to the community, but still F#$k ’em).
